CSC sees higher operating income in December compared to November

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in December last year its carbon steel sales volume increased by 5.4 percent to 842,094 metric tons compared to November, accounting for 71 percent of domestic sales. In 2015, the company's carbon steel sales volume amounted to 9.53 million mt, accounting for 67 percent of domestic sales. 
 
In December, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 21.56 billion ($646.76 million), increasing by 6.2 percent month on month.
