EU flat steel service centers’ shipments up four percent in H1

According to the latest report issued by the association of European steel and metal distributors EUROMETAL, in the second quarter of the current year steel shipments to end-user segments by European flat steel service centers increased by seven percent year on year. In the first half of this year, steel shipments rose four percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
 
In the second quarter, sales of long steel products by European service centers registered a significant growth rate of eight percent, while in the first six months their sales of long steel products increased by seven percent, both year on year.
