The European Commission has decided to conduct a partial interim review of the antidumping (AD) measures applicable to imports of threaded tube or pipe fittings of cast iron from China and Thailand. The request for review was lodged by Metpro Limited, an importer of certain types of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings of malleable cast iron, for imports originating in the People's Republic of China.

As the measures also apply to imports originating in Thailand, the commission has decided to initiate the review for imports originating in Thailand as well.

The applicant requested the exclusion of certain threaded tube or pipe cast fittings of malleable cast iron from the scope of the current antidumping measures.

The products covered by the investigation currently fall within CN code ex 7307 19 10.
