EU sets final AD duty on stainless butt-welding pipe fittings from China, Taiwan

The European Commission (EC) has announced that it has imposed definitive antidumping (AD) duties on imports of certain stainless steel tube and pipe butt-welding fittings originating in China and Taiwan.

The investigation launched on October 29, 2015 upon a complaint lodged by the Defence Committee of the Stainless Steel Butt-welding Fittings Industry of the European Union covered the period from October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015.

The final antidumping duties range between 5.1 percent and 64.9 percent for Chinese and Taiwanese companies. 

The products subject to antidumping duties currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers ex 7307 23 10 and ex 7307 23 90.
