Local media in Canada reported today that Evraz plans to lay off 125 workers at its tubular division in Regina, Regina, Saskatchewan, due to delays in pipeline approvals and the impact of “unfairly traded imports.”

According to a company spokesman, employees received layoff notices on Friday, although they would be recalled “when conditions improve.”

In May, Evraz laid off 90 workers at the Regina operation, along with 260 workers at the company’s Calgary location.
