Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate and agglomerate outputs rise in April

Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has stated that in April this year it increased its iron ore concentrate production by 2.2 percent year on year to 858,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given period increased by 2.1 percent year on year to 194,000 mt.

In the January-April period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 4.8 percent increase in its iron ore concentrate production to 3.449 million mt and a 19.5 percent increase in its agglomerate output to 727,000 mt - both on year-on-year basis.
