Brazil exported 7,660 mt of niobium ferroalloys in November against 9,439 mt in October.
The exports in November were destined to Asia (3,945 mt, of which 2,211 mt at $24,933/mt to China), Europe (2,250 mt at $24,856/mt), the US (1,044 mt at $25,337/mt), Canada (188mt at $24,758/mt), Africa (121 mt at $24,609/mt), Mexico (55 mt at $24,569/mt), and Saudi Arabia (55 mt at $25,200/mt), all FOB conditions.
The exports were from CBMM, the world’s largest producing company (6,095 mt at $25,733/mt/mt), and CMOC (1,039 mt at $24,091/mt), while 526 mt at $23,612/mt were exported from operations in the state of Amazonas.
The world’s largest producer of niobium ferroalloys, Brazil, exported 82,675 mt of the product during the first 11 months of 2024, with total FOB revenues of $2.131 billion against 77,561 mt and $2.023 billion during the same period of 2023.
