European green and renewable energy producer Lhyfe has announced that it has partnered with France-based machine industry company Fives Group to develop solutions for the use of green hydrogen in industrial combustion systems.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the two companies will accelerate the energy transition by using hydrogen in process industries without the need for modifying equipment. Within the scope of this goal, Lhyfe will produce and supply green hydrogen, while Fives will offer hydrogen burners.

The partners will focus on several sectors including steel, cement and some selected industrial heating processes and applications in Europe and North America.
