Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in the January-July period of the current year totaled $77.13 billion, up 4.3 percent year on year, with a total of 15,802 new companies set up by foreign investment in China, up 9.7 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In particular, in the January-July period of the current year FDI by the US, the UK and Germany in China increased by 129.8 percent, 96.8 percent and 96.6 percent year on year, respectively.
