Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in the January-April period of the current year totaled $45.3 billion, up 4.8 percent year on year, with a total of 8,298 new companies set up by foreign investment in China, up 6.5 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In particular, in the January-April period of the current year FDI by the One Belt, One Road area countries in China amounted to $2.51 billion, up 19.6 percent year on year.
