Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in the first half of the current year totaled $69.42 billion, up 5.1 percent year on year, with a total of 13,402 new companies set up by foreign investment in China, up 12.5 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In the first half of the current year, $19.53 billion of foreign direct investment (FDI) went into China’s manufacturing industry, down 2.8 percent year on year, accounting for 28.3 percent of the total FDI figure.
