France's steel product export value down 12.6 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-February period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €1.37 billion, falling by 12.6 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €322.8 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 18 percent, €93.4 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 15.5 percent, €61.1 million of cold drawn wire - down by 1.3 percent, €52.7 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 5.7 percent, and €94.6 million of metal structures and parts - down by 16.8 percent, all compared to the same period of 2015.
