France’s steel product export value up 19.4 percent in 2022

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in 2022 France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €13.70 billion, increasing by 19.4 percent year on year.

In the given year, France exported €1.32 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 18.4 percent, €589.02 million of cold rolled steel bars - rising by 22.5 percent, €695.26 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 13.3 percent, €429.24 million of cold drawn wire - advancing by 23.9 percent, and €889.91 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 16.6 percent, all compared to 2021.
