German company Güntner opens fifth plant in Mexico

The German company Güntner opened its fifth plant in the northern city of Apodaca, in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, which is oriented to the production of cooling and refrigeration systems, reported the local government.

“With an investment of $15 million and the creation of 300 direct jobs, the new Güntner plant is dedicated to the manufacture of cooling and refrigeration systems,” reported the government of Nuevo Leon in a press release.

The city of Apodaca is 14 miles northeast of the capital of Nuevo León, Monterrey. It is also 136 miles southwest of the border city of Laredo, Texas.

Güntner began operations in Mexico in 2002 and currently has five production plants in Nuevo León. It also has facilities in Europe, Asia and America.
