German iron ore import prices down 0.9 percent in April

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in April this year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 0.9 percent year on year and was up 10.2 percent month on month. 
 
In April, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 11.7 percent year on year and was up 2.7 percent as compared to March.
 
Meanwhile, in April this year the import price of nickel decreased by 32.6 percent compared to the same month last year and was down by 0.6 percent month on month.
