German iron ore import prices down 14.2 percent in March

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in March this year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 14.2 percent year on year and was up 14.5 percent month on month. 
 
In March, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 14.6 percent year on year and was down 0.1 percent as compared to February.
 
Meanwhile, in March this year the import price of nickel decreased by 35 percent compared to the same month last year and was up by 2.2 percent month on month.
