German iron ore import prices up 1.4 percent in June

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in June this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 1.4 percent year on year and was up 0.9 percent month on month. 
 
In June, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 6.8 percent year on year and was up 2.2 percent as compared to May.
 
Meanwhile, in June this year the import price of nickel decreased by 26.4 percent compared to the same month last year and rose by 1.8 percent month on month.
