German metal manufacturing turnover down 0.7 percent in Dec from Nov

In December last year, the seasonally and working-day adjusted turnover in the German manufacturing industry rose by 1.8 percent compared to November, according to the preliminary data reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In November last year, a corrected 2.1 percent decrease was registered compared to October. 
  
In December last year, the turnover of German metal and metal product manufacturing decreased by 0.7 percent compared to November, with domestic sales down 1.2 percent and foreign sales up 0.1 percent, month on month. 
 
In December, in the turnover in manufacture of fabricated metal products in Germany remained stable, with domestic sales growing by 0.1 percent and foreign sales down by 0.2 percent, all compared to the previous month.
