As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in November this year the producer prices of industrial products in Germany rose by 1.4 percent compared to November 2011 and fell slightly by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month of the current year.
In November, German producers' rolled steel prices fell by 1.6 percent compared to the same month of 2011, continuing the downward movement on year-on-year basis which has been seen since the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, rebar prices in Germany decreased by 5.7 percent in November compared to November 2011 and were down 7.4 percent compared to October this year.
Meanwhile, in November this year the import price of iron ore decreased by 39.4 percent year on year in Germany, while it was up by 0.8 percent as compared to October this year. In November, the import price of nickel fell by four percent compared to the same month of last year and was down by 4.3 percent month on month.
In November, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany fell by five percent year on year and was down by 0.8 percent compared to the previous month.
