Handan Steel Group produces 4.96 million mt of crude steel in H1

During the first half of this year, China’s Hebei Province-based steelmaker Handan Steel maintained positive production and business results despite the negative impact of the global financial crisis. From January to June, this company produced 5.13 million mt of pig iron, 4.96 million mt of crude steel, and 4.64 million mt of finished steel, registering sales revenues of RMB 17.6 billion ($2.58 billion).
