The Independent Steel Alliance (ISA) has signed a Supplier Partner Agreement with Ferrostaal Steel, a leading steel trading company with over 85 years of international steel trading experience.

Under the terms of the agreement, ISA members in both the US and Canada will be able to purchase rebar from a variety of international sources. Henry Pankratz, President of Ferrostaal Steel said, “As an independent and privately owned trading company, we see a natural fit between Ferrostaal Steel and the Independent Steel Alliance. With the continued consolidation in both the global steel market and the North American rebar industry, we believe Ferrostaal can give ISA members a greater opportunity to thrive in their fiercely competitive rebar fabrication industry.”

“We are very excited to partner with Ferrostaal, whose principals in Canada and the US are very well known and respected,” said ISA Executive Director Chris Casey. “The Ferrostaal name has been around for decades and rounds out ISA’s international trading supply chain.”
