India’s MOIL Limited sees 38% fall in net profit in Q4 2022-23

Indian government-run manganese miner MOIL Limited has reported a net profit of INR 809 million ($9.77 million) in the fourth quarter (January-March) of the fiscal year 2022-23, a decline of 38.3 percent year on year, a company regulatory filing said on Monday, May 29.

The company achieved total revenues from operations amounting to INR 4.28 billion ($51.69 million) during the quarter, a fall of 8.5 percent year on year.

The company also reported manganese ore production of 131,000 mt in April this year, 26 percent higher than output in April 2022.
