India’s MOIL sees highest-ever monthly manganese ore output in May

Indian state-run miner MOIL Limited achieved manganese ore production of 215,000 mt in May this year, its highest-ever monthly volume, surpassing the previous highest of 183,000 mt in December 2023 and up 41 percent over May 2023, according to a company statement on Tuesday, June 4.

The company reported total ore production in the April-May period of the fiscal year 2023-24 at 305,000 mt, up seven percent year on year.
