India’s NMDC sees iron ore output rise by 3% in June, sales down 9%

Indian government-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 3.37 million mt in June this year, up 3.2 percent year on year, according to a regulatory filing on Tuesday, July 2.

The miner achieved iron ore sales of 3.73 million mt in the given month, a decline of nine percent year on year, the company reported in the filing.
