Thursday, 10 August 2023 11:49:12 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply two new high-speed bar and wire rod mills to Indian miner and steelmaker Rungta Mines to be installed at its Dhenkanal and Kamanda plants in Odisha, India.

The mills will annually produce a total of one million mt of rebar with 8-40 mm diameters and wire rod with 5.5-20 mm diameters. In addition, the new mills will increase Rungta Mines’ flexibility towards market demand.

In the third quarter of 2024, Rungta Mines plans to commission two new high-speed bar mills to be installed in the Chaliyama industrial area, Jharkhand, supplied by Danieli, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
