Indian state-run pellet producer KIOCL Limited has once again shut down its 3 million mt capacity plant in Mangalore, a company regulatory filing said on Friday, September 29.

The company said that the plant was being shut down owing to non-availability of fines and maintenance.

The plant had resumed operations earlier this month after it was shut down in August.

KIOCL has been resorting to frequent plant shutdowns having restarted the plant in July after a long shutdown of nearly one month.
