Indonesian steel mill orders new SBQ plant

Japan-based steel plant manufacturer JP Steel Plantech Co has announced that the Indonesian long steel producer Jatim Taman Steel has placed an order for a new special bar quality (SBQ) mill to produce special round bar and flat bar.
 
The new SBQ mill will produce special steel round bar for the growing automobile industry in Indonesia as well as in surrounding countries, in addition to special steel flat bar to one of its group companies as material for steel springs.
 
Jatim Taman Steel, part of Indoprima Group, supplies springs for automobiles.
