Italian crude steel output down 3.7 percent in January-February

According to the Italian steel producers association Federacciai, in February this year crude steel production in Italy amounted to 1.928 million metric tons, down 2.1 percent year on year and constituting the lowest February output figure in six years.

In the first two months of the current year, Italian crude steel production amounted to 3.73 million metric tons, decreasing by 3.7 percent year on year.
