Italy’s Acciaierie Venete orders wire rod line to expand product portfolio

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply a new wire rod production line to Italy-based long steel producer Acciaierie Venete.

The new line to be built at the Sarezzo steel plant in Brescia will produce special steel wire rods in diameters from 5.5 mm to 25 mm, expanding the company’s product portfolio.

The line is scheduled to commence production in early 2025.

Acciaierie Venete has an annual production capacity of two million mt of steel.
