On August 20, Sichuan Province-based Chinese special steel producer Pangang Group Jiangyou Changcheng Special Steel Co. (JCSSC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese aerospace conglomerate Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Co., a subsidiary of AVIC International Holding Corporation (AVIC International), as announced by Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group on August 22.
Pangang Group stated that JCSSC will accordingly supply special steel, alloy steel and titanium products to Chengdu Aircraft Industrial, while the two sides will also work to broaden their cooperation.
Meanwhile, JCSSC intends to take advantage of this cooperation to accelerate the structural adjustment of its product range and to intensify its research and development as regards new products.
