JSW Steel’s crude steel output rises by 14 percent in June quarter

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 3.87 million mt of crude steel in the first quarter ending June 30 of the financial year 2016-17, showing a growth of 14 percent year on year, achieving its highest-ever quarterly crude steel production
 
According to the company's statement, in the first quarter JSW Steel produced 2.74 million mt of flat rolled products, increasing by nine percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 850,000 mt, up 23 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
