JSW Steel’s crude steel output up seven percent in February

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.01 million mt of crude steel in February of this year, showing an increase of seven percent year on year.
 
According to the company's statement, in the given month JSW Steel produced 728,000 mt of flat rolled products, decreasing by three percent, while its long rolled product output totaled 233,000 mt, up 58 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
 
JSW stated that the blast furnace at its Dolvi plant in the state of Maharashtra was recommissioned on March 10 after refurbishing and capacity enhancement.
