Khartsyzsk Pipe Works issues Jan-May operational results

The Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest) has announced that in May 2009 its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) manufactured a total of 56,523 mt of large diameter pipes - up seven percent month on month, with its output of large diameter pipes with anticorrosive coating for the same month reaching 58, 919 mt - up 10 percent compared to April.

During the first five months of 2009, KhPW produced 259,150 mt of large diameter pipes, with output of pipes with anticorrosive coating totaling 206,951 mt.
