Khartsyzsk Pipe Works issues July operational results

The Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding (Metinvest) has announced that in July its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW) manufactured a total of 48,116 mt of large diameter pipes, up 10.5 percent month on month.

Meanwhile, also in July, KhPW continued production of Х70 1,067 х 15.9 mm and K55 720 х 8 mm large diameter pipes with anticorrosive coating, and started production of 10G2FB pipes of 1,420 х 19.2 mm and 1,420 х 21.8 mm diameter, and of K56 (09G2FB) pipes of 1,220 х 12.5 mm, all with internal and external anticorrosive coating. In July, KhPW’s total output of the pipes in question amounted to 47,081 mt - up 3.9 percent compared to June, with its deliveries for the same month reaching 48,600 mt of pipes, most of which were supplied for the Central Asia-China gas pipeline project.

In January-July this year, KhPW produced 350,799 mt of large diameter pipes, with output of pipes with anticorrosive coating totaling 355,355 mt.
