Recently, Laiwu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. succeeded in trial-producing Australian Standard rebar in its bar rolling mill, which helps the mill to tackle the change in steel market positively.

Australian Standard rebar differs greatly from Chinese Standard rebar in shapes. With 3 more longitudinal ribs and a mesh-like structured surface, Australian Standard rebar has a high demand for process control. Through the efforts endeavored by professional technicians in the bar rolling mill, the trial-produced products have a good surface quality, and their shapes and sizes meet Australian Standard requirements, which laid the foundation for the mass production of Australian Standard rebar.
