Maanshan Steel posts progress on auto sheet

After over four years of development, Anhui-based Chinese steelmaker Maanshan Steel company has announced that it has raised the overall quality of its auto sheets to high levels and gained widespread acceptance among the ten biggest automobile groups in China.

In order to gain entry to the auto sheet market, Maanshan Steel set up a R&D group following the commissioning of its first cold and hot rolled steel sheet production line. So far May, Maanshan Steel has received bookings totaling 1,500 mt of auto sheets from buyers across the world.
