Peruvian metal-mechanics producer Metales Andinos plans to start exporting its products to Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador, according to a media report.

According to the company’s executive director, Luis Botto, Metales will export forged steel products, such as flanges and fittings, to supply the mining and gas industries.

The company plans to build a forging flange plant in the region of Chilca, Peru, which is expected to commence production by 2017.

Metales expects to increase its revenues by 30 percent, year-on-year. About 60 percent of Metales’ demand comes from the Peruvian oil and gas markets.
