Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, has imposed a definite countervailing duty of 40.25 percent on the imports of ferrosilicon manganese from India, following a probe by the local government and recurring requests from local producer Minera Autlan.

The products subject to the 40.25 percent CVD fall under the 7202.30.01 and 9802.00.13 HS codes.

In a similar decision, SE extended existing definite CVD for the imports of seamless tubes from Japan.

According to SE, the 99.9 percent CVD duty will be extended for five more years, counting from November 11, 2015.

The Japanese products subject to the CVD duties fall under the following HS codes: 304.11.01, 7304.11.02, 7304.11.03, 7304.11.99, 7304.19.01, 7304.19.02, 7304.19.03, 7304.19.99, 7304.39.05, 7304.39.06, 7304.39.07, 7304.39.99, 7304.59.06, 7304.59.07, 7304.59.08 and 7304.59.99.
