Mexico’s economic activity stable in December on month-on-month analysis

Mexico’s economic activity remained stable in December 2015 with zero growth compared to November, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi said.

However, in the year-on-year analysis economic activity in December rose 2.5 percent.

Secondary activities diminished 0.1 percent in December, year-on-year, while primary and tertiary activities rose in the same period by 4.4 and 3.9 percent, respectively.

In the month-on-month comparison, secondary activities in December declined 0.1 percent. Primary and tertiary activities improved 4.6 and 0.2 percent, respectively, in December, month-on-month.
