Mexico’s economic activity up in June

Mexican economic activity in June rose 2.2 percent, year-on-year, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said this week.

According to government data, the country’s economic activity improved 0.6 percent in June on a month-on-month basis.

Primary, secondary and tertiary activities in the sixth month of the year rose 15.1, 0.3 and 2.6 percent, year-on-year, respectively.

As for the month-on-month comparison, primary, secondary and tertiary activities rose 6.3, 0.1 and 0.1 percent month-on-month.
