Mexico’s industrial production declined 0.9 percent in April, year-on-year, and 0.7 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi.

Inegi said output at the mining segment diminished 3.5 percent in April, year-on-year, and 2 percent, month-on-month.

Following the same downtrend, industrial production at the local civil construction and the manufacturing industries fell 0.1 and 1.6 percent, year-on-year, respectively, and 0.1 and 0.7 percent, month-on-month.

Output at the utilities segment rose 3.2 percent in April, year-on-year, and 0.6 percent, month-on-month.
