Mexico’s iron pellet output declines 25.5 percent in January

Mexico’s iron pellet output declined 25.5 percent in January, year-on-year, to 512,049 mt, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Thursday.

When compared to December’s data, Mexican iron pellet production rose 0.6 percent in January, month-on-month.

Inegi said the country’s mining and metals production index declined 3.8 percent in January, month-on-month.
