Mexico’s iron pellet output declines 26 percent in December

Mexican iron pellet output in December declined 26 percent, year-on-year, to 508,657 mt, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Monday.

As for the whole year of 2015, iron pellet output diminished 3.8 percent, year-on-year, Inegi said.

Mexico’s mining and metals production index declined 2.2 percent in December, month-on-month, but improved 0.3 percent in December on a year-on-year basis.
