Russian steel mill Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that it has completed repairs and restarted operations at its light-section mill 370.

Accordingly, the main repair works were carried out at the mill's reheating furnace, the internal lining of which has been replaced. In addition, the overhaul also included the repair and replacement of the mill's mechanical equipment.

MMK's light-section mill 370, supplied by Italian plantmaker Danieli and commissioned in 2005, has an annual production capacity of 585,000 mt of No.12-No.40 rebar and sections up to rounds of 50 mm in diameter.
