MMZ’s rolled steel output down 34.6 percent in March from February

In March this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 25,985 mt of rolled products, down 34.6 percent from the previous month. In the given month, the company’s rolled product shipments totaled 49,872 mt, including 24,622 mt of reinforcing bars and 25,250 mt of wire rod.
 
In February this year, MMZ’s rolled product output reached 39,728 mt, while rolled product shipments amounted to 34,608 mt, including 31,388 mt of reinforcing bars and 13,220 mt of wire rod
 
The company expects to produce 22,000 mt of rolled steel products in April this year, to be delivered to Moldova, Ukraine and EU countries.
