Iranian steel producer Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) has announced that, in a measure designed to meet the needs of local customers, especially producers of pipes and profiles, its subsidiary Saba Steelmaking & Continuous Casting Plant is now focusing on low-thickness products. According to the company’s statement, the production of high value-added products like thin sheets will help meet domestic needs for such products and eliminate the necessity for imports from overseas.

Meanwhile, during a company meeting, Bahram Sobhani, MSC managing director, stated that a fifth casting machine will become operational in the near future at MSC’s steelmaking complex.
