China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 20-26) the overall average finished steel price in China decreased by 0.5 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of hot rolled strip, high-speed wire rod and rebar in China declined by 0.7 percent, 0.6 percent and 0.6 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 1.6 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 1.2 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of anthracite coal and coking coal remained stable week on week, respectively, while the average price of thermal coal increased by 0.2 percent week on week.
