China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the August 28-September 1 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged down slightly.
In the given period, the average prices of common steel plate, rebar and high-speed wire rod moved down by 0.5 percent, 0.4 percent and 0.4 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same period, the average price of thermal coal rose by 0.1 percent, while the average prices of both coking coal and smoke-free lump coal declined by 0.2 percent week on week, respectively.
