MOC: Average steel prices in China up slightly during Sept 4-10

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the September 4-10 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and welded steel pipe moved up by 0.9 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.6 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same period, the average prices of coking coal, thermal coal and smoke-free lump coal rose by 3.2 percent, 1.1 percent and 0.8 percent week on week, respectively.
