MOC: Average steel prices in China up slightly during December 2-8

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the December 2-8 period this year the average finished steel prices in China indicated a slight increase.

In the given period, the average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and hot rolled steel strip increased by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.3 percent week on week, respectively.

In the same period, the average prices of smoke-free lump coal, coking coal and thermal coal declined by 1.7 percent, 1.0 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.
